Haircut

Never tell 11 girls you will get a purple mohawk if "we beat this team" unless you are ready to do it. Pictures will follow and heopfully a hat to cover the carnage.

Missing Maggie

As spring comes into full swing everything at the Fox house is budding and green. This has been a wet spring and everything is flowering. Many of the plants that are blooming or are about to bloom were planted by my late Grandmother Maggie. It's hard to believe she has been gone so long, but at this time of the year I can almost feel her presence in the yard. I am not being all metaphysical or mega spiritual, just stating the facts. I wish she were here and I miss her.

This is some good dirt!

The Foxes spent all weekend at the softball complex to support the Make-A-Wish 10U tourney. Vintage did a great job and the team took home the gold. CL loves time at the park and spends most of it riding his bike or playing with monster trucks. He found a small plot of sandy soil beside the bleachers, and looked up and me and said "Dad this is some good dirt!". I really kinda got that comment, as I recall many days spent at my grandmother Fox's house sifting and playing in the dirt. As far as dirt goes CL hit the nail on the head and found some really good stuff.

The Drama Queens

Vintage is playing girls softball this year and dear old dad is coaching. It required a player/coach behavior contract as drafted by Vintage. We are making great progress and I see the makings of a great season. I will post some pics soon so check back often.

The Mousecreek Foxes Return for Spring 2010

It's been a long cold winter and the Mousecreek Foxes have been very busy. I hope that the warm weather allows for more blogging and lots of funnies.
