I planted this guy a few years ago and it never bloomed. The pot was slid under the poarch and it sat there for 6 months without a drop of water. This year I decided to use the pot for another plant. While the pot was sitting waiting for a new plant, it came a nice rain. A few days later a few small green shoot emerged from the soil. It seemed so impossible that this thing was still alive that I just stuck it in the front flower bed. Two months later it bloomed for the first time.
